Shift Supervisor

Employee Status Temporary.

Reports to Cellar Manager
Role/Job Sole charge winery site 2nd shift
Purpose To Manage all Cellar operations
Responsibilities/Typical Activities

Receival to dispatch ready
Intake of grapes
Press operation
Clarification by cold settling, centrifuging or gas floatation
Generation of cellar worksheets from Vinsight software system
Cellar software updates in conjunction with lab
Manage staff to maximise quality work / output / work relationships
Understanding and adherence to customer quality specifications
Plant hygiene and adherence to GisVin HACCP and Quality Management systems

Comments: This leading role is for an experienced winery worker with a proven track record in the industry. You must be computer literate, a strong team leader, and be able to lead from the front. This role begins well prior to the vintage to provide ample time for familiarisation and training.
